Fort Wayne, Ind. (July 20, 2022) – The Embassy Theatre and Nederlander National Markets are thrilled to announce the 2022-2023 Broadway at the Embassy season presented by Midwest America Federal Credit Union. The season is headlined by the nine-time Tony® Award-winning phenomenon The Book of Mormon; and also features the behind-the-scenes musical about real-life superstar couple in On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan; the return of the worldwide sensation Riverdance The 25th Anniversary Tour; the iconic rock opera from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice celebrating its 50th anniversary, Jesus Christ Superstar; and the return of the best-loved family musical, Annie.
Sales for renewing subscriptions begin Monday, July 25. New subscribers can purchase their subscriptions starting Monday, August 15. On-sale dates for individual tickets will be announced at a later date.

Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show is Riverdance as you’ve never seen it before! A powerful and stirring reinvention of this beloved favorite, celebrated the world over for its Grammy Award-winning score and the thrilling energy and passion of its Irish and international dance. Twenty-five years on, composer Bill Whelan has rerecorded his mesmerizing soundtrack while producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan have completely reimagined the ground-breaking show with innovative and spectacular lighting, projection, stage and costume designs.
Jesus Christ Superstar: April 15, 2023
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, a new mesmerizing production of the iconic musical phenomenon returns to the stage. Originally staged by London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and helmed by the acclaimed director Timothy Sheader (Crazy for You, Into the Woods) and cutting-edge choreographer Drew McOnie (King Kong, Strictly Ballroom), this production won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival garnering unprecedented reviews and accolades. Appealing to both theater audiences and concert music fans, this production pays tribute to the historic 1971 Billboard Album of the Year while creating a modern, theatrical world that is uniquely fresh and inspiring.
With lyrics and music by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas.
